Q: My skin type seems normal. Do I need to moisturize?
A: Rebecca James Gadberry, a recognized authority on
cosmetics, teaches cosmetic sciences at UCLA. Rebecca

barrier against dehydration and bacteria." So anytime is
a good time to protect the skin. While you are quite
young the skin has a great ability to retain water,

of aging, so Rebecca recommends continued replacement of
water loss through the pores of the skin. This means

Put your best face forward.Start with a healthy glowing complexion by giving
yourself a facial the day before your special occasion.
Try this natural concoction to tone, cleanse and
moisturize your skin. The grapes and avocado soften and
moisturize, the mayonnaise tones and smoothes and the
baking soda exfoliates. Gentle enough even for the most
sensitive skin.This fresh natural facial recipe is great for all skin
types!

 Botanical Facial Formula
1/2 ripe avocado (peeled and pitted)
3 seedless green grapes
1 whole egg
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1teaspoon lime juice
Puree avocado and add crushed grapes one at a time and
mix well. When smooth, add remaining ingredients and
blend till smooth. Slather generously over entire face.
Place slices of cool cucumbers over your eyes (keep 'me
closed!) and lie back and relax for 10 to 15 minutes.
Refrigerate any leftover mixture and discard after 3
days.
